About Sidera
What is Sidera?
Sidera is a passion project. It is a family of software projects created by Jeff Walker. Each new project is special because it explores new ideas and implements creative problem-solving concepts.
Sidera's mission
The word sidera is Latin for "stars". At Sidera, our mission is to provide excellence, creativity, and innovation that inspires us all to touch the stars.
Who's behind it?
Jeff Walker
I have been programming since age 15. I joined the Explorers Post 725 - Computers, which fostered my interest in the field and taught me to write my first program, which was a basic conversation application. I became exposed to programming languages such as Microsoft Visual Basic and C#, as well as web design languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I co-founded CompCADEMY in 2015, where I served as web admin and a co-instructor for computer programming.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Springfield, where I graduated magna cum laude. I work as the System Application Developer for INB, National Association. You can learn more about me at jeffwalker.dev.
